  Always shop here as I find you can usually negotiate a reasonable discount on the list price. But the last item I bought for my wife, a 3 diamond eternity ring fell apart after 13 months. The setting fell apart and the diamond was apparently cracked.
  This happened through just normal wear. My wife has other rings on the same hand that have not fallen apart, but Goldsmiths insisted that it was "customer damage".
  After providing us with two estimates to repair the £699 ring, one of £300 and the other of £695! They then said they would arrange it for £150 as a "good will gesture".
  My advice, if you want to avoid similar "good will" for faulty goods then shop elsewhere.
  Otherwise the staff are always friendly and helpful. Shame about the products.

  I bought my Breitling watch from here about 4 years ago. I have had a couple of issues with it since, not Goldsmiths fault might I add. The level of customer care I have received from Craig, who deals with repairs/services, has been brilliant! The staff here in general are very attentive, polite and helpful to their customers.
